Hi there,

I'm trying to capture video ... and my Sony A7S2 is overheating in the Australian sun! I've concluded that I have to introduce some form of ventilation into the pelican case. Does anyone have any ideas?

One idea is to lose the weather tight-ness of the Pelican case ... and put ventilation vents on both sides of the box (and pray that the tripod doesn't fall over, or the wind doesn't blow the rain inside)

Another idea I have is to put 2 round holes in opposite sides of the box and glue aluminium ventilation duct between those two holes in the inside of the box. That would allow air to move through the box (through the duct) ... and hopefully the aluminium would allow some heat exchange with the heat generated by the camera ... without letting any water in.

If anyone has any ideas ... I'm all ears!
