Trailmaster TM-1550 PS cable for Canon

Does anybody have the pinouts for making your own cables for the Trailmaster and Canon cameras with the N3 connector? My standard cables I use for all my other systems is not working.

On the Trailmaster end, ground is the barrel, metering is the ring and shutter is the tip. For the camera end I always take the cable and plug it into the camera. Then take each wire and individually touch to the metal part of the hotshoe. If the wire does nothing, that's the ground wire. If it wakes the camera without activating the shutter, that's the metering wire. If the wire activates the shutter, that's the shutter wire.

Thanks Jeff, very helpful. Today I learned to also check the settings of the trailmaster unit before making cables. In any event, I have new cables and default settings.
