The lynx was from central Yukon in Canada next to Alaska. Cool idea with the bamboo. Here is a photo of what that trap was set for.

I was actually after mountain sheep in this set up but caught this lynx in the rocks... D7000 on a Vanguard tripod on a steep side slope. Although this area was safe to climb around in....A...
