Dear all,
I have three Nikon sb-28s, they are connected with TRL cam flash cables. When the camera is triggered only one of the flashes fire, it's like they aren't waking up from standby. Has anyone had this problem? can anyone help? Thanks

Hey Alex.....try this for me:
1) Connect each flash one at a time to the hot shoe on the camera. Let it go to sleep and press the shutter. This will confirm the flashes are good and the sleep mode on the flash is activated.
2) Connect the flash cable to the camera hot shoe. Install all flashes on the cable. Let the camera and all the flashes enter the sleep mode. Press the shutter button half way down. How many wake up?
3) Same test only let everything go to sleep and press the shutter button down all the way and then a 15 seconds later press the shutter button all the way down. Did any flashes work on the second press?
Hey Jeff,
1) only one flash worked, but it says they are all on standby on the screen
2) only on flash worked, the other two still saying standby like its not recognizing the camera or something.
3)yes, only one worked with the first and second press
Has to be a broken wire. Send it back and I will fix it.
send it to you?
