The gamble of camera trapping. With the weather we have in Nebraska, it could be -20 one day and 50 the next day. I have a pond that is fed by the river that is froze over every time this year. I have been dragging deer carcass out on the ice to capture eagles and hawks and other wildlife eating on the carcasses. Last week we had some warm weather that had broken up the ice on the river, but I wasn't to concerned. Thursday night I checked the cards and cameras and didn't noticed nothing. Friday morning when I woke up, the river was high. Really high.

That's awesome. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do this. Hope you were able to salvage some of your rig.

Looks like a wireless trail camera to get real-time information on what ios happening at the site. Must have been tough to watch with the water rising.
